The government on Tuesday announced the winners of the first edition of the National Startup Awards. The NSA seeks to recognize entities that build innovative products or solutions and scalable enterprises. The startups ought to have a high potential to generate employment, create wealth and above all, demonstrate measurable social impact.The first edition of the National Startup Awards saw the participation of 1640 startups. Here’s a state-wise round-up of the applications.
The National Startup Awards did to just measure the startup success in financial gains, but also innovation, scalability, inclusiveness and diversity; economic, environmental and social impact. Several startups from 12 different sectors received the national award from commerce minister Piyush Goyal.
